Carnival Cruise Line is celebrating 50 years of sailing and in the process, they have made a splash. The cruise line has announced that they will be bringing back two-for-one promotions on 7 cruises. The “carnival cruise chat rooms” is a social media account that shares messages from the Carnival President. The account was created on the 50th birthday of the company and has been sharing information since then.
Carnival Cruise Line is in the midst of its most extravagant celebration ever. When Ted Arison took the risk of starting a cruise line that was unlike anything else available at the time, it was 50 years ago that the cruise company made its debut.
Between big 7-ship rendezvous in the Western Caribbean and festivities aboard all of Carnival Cruise Line’s ships, the cruise line’s President, Christine Duffy, took a moment out of her hectic schedule to thank individuals who helped the business succeed.

While Ted and Micky Arison’s financial expertise has helped the world’s largest cruise line expand to its current size, it would not have been feasible without the passengers. Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Lines, understands this.
Duffy took a break from her hectic schedule to shoot a video thanking the millions of passengers who have helped Carnival Cruise Line and Carnival Corporation become what they are today.
“It’s our 50th birthday,” Christine Duffy said. Isn’t it incredible? And we’re overjoyed to be celebrating with you since we know you’re the reason for this significant achievement. Lido celebrations, water slides, sea breezes, sunsets, and amazing experiences mark the 50th anniversary of the Lido. 50 years of pure joy. “Thank you very much.”

Duffy, of course, did not forget the last two years, when cruising appeared a long way away; the fact that the cruise line is sailing again with passengers is tribute to the company’s faithful following:
“And let me underscore with us, particularly in the last two years, because despite all we’ve all had to go through, you’ve stuck with us, and we’re thankful.” This is why, even though it is our birthday, we say the celebration is for you. So, with you all as our honored guests, we’re making sure it’s absolutely spectacular.”
Carnival is surely bringing the Epic in full force. The cruise company hosted what was the biggest Carnival ship gathering to date on March 7.
In the Western Caribbean, seven Carnival cruise ships will meet.
Carnival has scheduled a series of at-sea ship gatherings as part of its 50th birthday festivities. The firm has planned 17 themed Sailabrations for visitors to enjoy with one another aboard and with other Carnival ships. On March 7, the largest gathering took place in the Western Caribbean.

Carnival Breeze, Carnival Ecstasy, Carnival Glory, Mardi Gras, Carnival Pride, Carnival Sunrise, and Carnival Vista gathered in the Western Caribbean for a celebration at sea between Cozumel and Costa Maya. The amazing sight of seven Carnival cruise ships together at sea was seen by John Heald, the cruise line’s brand ambassador:
“I just completed going around the ship, and everyone, I mean everyone, is saying it’s one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen.” So I just wanted to share this with you; I wish you could’ve seen it live because I believe you would’ve been as impressed as the other 5000 people.”

Carnival Conquest, Carnival Spirit, Carnival Freedom, Carnival Legend, Carnival Liberty, and Carnival Sunshine will meet on March 9 in the Bahamas, between Eleuthera and Nassau. Carnival Miracle and Carnival Panorama will meet on March 11 in Baja, Mexico, just outside of Ensenada.
The festivities will come to a close in late November when the cruise line’s newest ship, the Carnival Celebration, is formally christened in PortMiami.
