MSC Cruises is amping up its sailings in the new year with a brand-new ship. The MSC Seascape, which will debut on January 6th, brings more than 1,700 additional berths to the Miami cruise scene through 2019.
The “msc seashore” is a cruise ship that will be debuting in Miami. The company has not announced the exact date yet, but it is expected to debut in the summer of 2019.
Today is the float-out of MSC Cruises’ new ship MSC Seascape at the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy.
After MSC Seashore, which is being christened in the Bahamas today, the ship will be delivered in November 2022 and will be the line’s second Seaside EVO-class ship. MSC Seaside and Seaview are part of the Seaside EVO class, which is an evolution of the Seaside-class.

During a media event onboard Seashore today, MSC also revealed that MSC Seascape will make her debut in Miami next year.
“The float out of MSC Seascape represents yet another key milestone in our fleet’s expansion, and the vessel will pay respect to the seas with yet another host of extremely creative marine and design characteristics,” stated Pierfrancesco Vago, MSC Cruises’ Executive Chairman.
“Despite the epidemic, we have persisted with our ambitious new construction plans, and today is a double celebration for MSC as our upcoming flagship MSC Seascape and her sister ship MSC Seashore are formally christened at our very own private island, Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve.”
MSC Seashore, a brand-new ship, has arrived at its homeport of Florida.
MSC Seascape, like MSC Seashore, will have over 70% of her public areas renovated from the original Seaside-class ships, providing guests with even more possibilities to engage with the sea.
The 169,400 gross ton vessel will include the following features:
- There are 2,270 cabins in all, with 12 distinct styles of balconies.
- There are 11 restaurants and 19 bars and lounges.
- There are six pools on the property, including an infinity pool in the back.
- With about 32,000 square feet of area, it is the biggest MSC Yacht Club in the fleet.
- The beachfront promenade is 1,772 feet long.
- Deck 16 has the glass-floored Bridge of Sighs.

Onboard the ship, environmentally friendly measures include selective catalytic reduction systems on each of the four engines, which minimize nitrogen oxide emissions by up to 90% by converting the gas to harmless nitrogen and water. Hybrid exhaust gas cleaning systems will be installed on the ship, which will remove 98 percent of sulphur oxide from ship emissions.
MSC Seascape is equipped with best-in-class wastewater treatment systems that meet or exceed the purification standards of most land-based wastewater treatment facilities, advanced waste management systems, ballast water treatment systems, cutting-edge technology for preventing oil discharges from machinery spaces, and various energy-efficiency upgrades such as heat recovery systems and LED lighting.
To decrease and isolate the possible impacts on marine animals, Seascape will feature an underwater radiated noise control technology.
