A new cruise ship from Royal Caribbean will have a remote work space on the top deck, as well as a pet area and a pool.
The residential cruise ship magellan is a new type of cruise ship that has been created by the Norwegian Cruise Line. This new residence boat includes a deck, remote work space, and pet areas.
The Storylines residential ship has revealed a revision of deck layouts and a lengthy list of additional facilities based on input from individuals who have already booked their spot.
The new-build ship, known as the MV Narrative, is set to debut in 2023. It claims to provide a community of adventurers seeking rich cultural experiences throughout the world with an ecologically sustainable maritime home.

The 55,000 gross ton, 741-foot-long ship with 450 crew members will take its live-aboard owners on a lengthy, leisurely journey around the world in approximately 3.5 years, with stops of three to five days in key ports.
Here’s an example of a three-month itinerary.
While many comparable initiatives have failed to materialize, this one seems to be on the right track. The Storylines business model involves ‘owner-residents’ paying up front for a 12- to 60-year lease. There are 547 residential apartments for sale, with many already booked, according to the company’s website.
Storylines joined the private house cruise line market with an emphasis on more economical entry-level choices, with studio and one-bedroom homes at sea beginning at $350,000 for a 237-square-foot apartment. Balcony ‘condo-cabins’ with 337 sq. ft. of living and outdoor area start at approximately $500,000.

In 2023, all Celebrity Edge-Class ships will sail in Europe.
From the start, there were bigger choices, such as two-story penthouse homes with 1,529 sq. ft. and an eye-watering $8 million price tag. Many prospective buyers, though, were seeking intermediate two- and three-bedroom choices, according to Storylines.
In response, the Florida-based start-up firm rebuilt smaller houses to create 84 bigger “upscale homes at sea” with costs beginning at $2,455,000 and ranging from 909-1417 sq. ft. The number of decks has risen from 17 to 18, but the number of available homes has dropped from 627 to 547 in the revised designs.
Additional staff space has been added, as well as a redesigned marina deck to facilitate tendering for beach landings.
More outdoor eating and gathering areas are also planned, which residents have shown a strong desire for in recent polls.
