The world’s first Nobu Hotel Caesars Palace is celebrating its tenth anniversary, and the premium boutique hotel inside the famous Las Vegas casino is undergoing a multimillion-dollar renovation of all 182 guest rooms and public spaces. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2021. Caesars Entertainment, Inc. is expanding its long-standing relationship with Nobu Hospitality, the worldwide lifestyle brand established by Nobu Matsuhisa, Robert De Niro, and Meir Teper. This is one of many initiatives in the works.
The award-winning global architectural and design company Rockwell Group has reimagined the guest rooms and common spaces of Nobu Hotel Caesars Palace to create a more contemporary, home atmosphere. Kintsugi, the Japanese technique of mending broken ceramics with gold epoxy, has inspired Rockwell Group to create cohesiveness from collage. This piece will give the original design idea a more streamlined, lighter, and luxurious feel.
“With Nobu Hospitality, we created the world’s first celebrity chef-branded hotel venture eight years ago, bringing Nobu’s distinctive elegance and refinement to the Las Vegas Strip,” Martha Morales, General Manager of Nobu Hotel Caesars Palace, said. “We are dedicated to investing in Las Vegas as it continues to develop as one of the top destinations for entertainment, sports, and gambling.” Caesars is pleased to provide experiences that visitors can only enjoy at our properties, from the Nobu Hotel refresh to the Caesars Palace main entrance makeover.”

A bespoke couch in a dozen various patch-worked upholsteries, from painterly-style patterns to muted textured motifs, will be the main point of the new guest rooms. A quartzite coffee table with a gold base and a cracked kintsugi look, as well as extra lighting, will be included in the renovated rooms. The new bespoke carpet will be aubergine in color, with abstract and impressionistic flowers inspired by Tsubaki Chinzan, a 19th-century Japanese artist, and gold kintsugi veining. A statement desk or dining table will be another nice addition, with a quartz buffer connecting it to the dresser. New furniture, carpets, and flooring will be included in the remodeled suites.
A bespoke carpet with flowing shapes, evoking a pond of koi fish clustered at each guest room entrance, and patterns inspired by suminagashi – the art of Japanese paper marbling – will be featured in the redesigned guest hallways. Furthermore, the new inset lobby carpet will include colossal slabs of marble and agate with gold veining and flashes of gray, red, and blue.
The planned construction of two new Nobu Hotels and restaurants at Harrah’s New Orleans and Caesars Atlantic City, as well as a Nobu restaurant at Paris Las Vegas, was recently announced by Caesars Entertainment and Nobu Hospitality.
