Royal Caribbean International is offering a unique opportunity for those interested in learning about the cruise line’s newest ships, as well as exploring their homeports.

The royal caribbean covid rules 2021 is a cruise line that offers testing at homeports. Royal Caribbean has been offering the opportunity to test for free since 1971.

For passengers worried about receiving findings in a timely way, Royal Caribbean is now providing pre-cruise testing by appointment exclusively at its U.S. homeports.

After the CDC issued revised advice on September 13, cruise companies reduced the pre-cruise testing requirement from 72 hours to 48 hours. Some visitors were concerned that the move would result in restricted testing availability in their regions and test result delays, preventing them from reaching the new deadline.

Guests aged 12 and above must have a negative antigen or PCR test two days prior to boarding, and children under the age of 12 must have a negative test three days prior to boarding. Prior to embarkation, all passengers under the age of 12 will get a free test.

Details on Pier-Side Testing

The tests are $105 apiece, and neither the cruise company nor your insurance will pay them. Tests are now offered in Port Canaveral (Allure of the Seas and Mariner of the Seas), PortMiami (Freedom of the Seas and Symphony of the Seas), and the Port of Tampa (Allure of the Seas and Mariner of the Seas) (Serenade of the Seas). COVID Testing LLC, headquartered in Orlando, claims to have tested over 100,000 individuals to date.

To make a reservation, go to the company’s website and book a 30-minute appointment 30 minutes before their planned check-in time. Per reservation, you may book several exams.

“I just checked at the new test at the dock availability for Oasis on Sunday,” Cruise Radio reader Dave Beers tweeted. Only 11 of the 95 available seats are presently reserved.” The Oasis is presently departing from the New York City metropolitan region.

Carnival Cruise Line stated during the summer that they planned to set up restricted pre-trip testing locations for customers who had difficulty obtaining results prior to the cruise, but they subsequently changed their minds.

“While we have previously mentioned the idea of additional on-site testing at our terminals,” Carnival Cruise Line President Christine Duffy stated, “the practicalities of making this service broadly accessible to a significant number of passengers does not make this a realistic option.”

Guests who are worried about receiving results prior to departure may now take the BinaxNOW COVID-19 antigen test at home. The FDA-approved lateral flow antigen test may be performed in the privacy of your own home, but only under the supervision of a telemed representative. Testing is also offered at most major airports, although it is typically only by appointment.

Royal Caribbean is offering a test cruise in 2021. The cruise will be the first of its kind, and will offer guests with an opportunity to try cruising without committing to buying a ticket. Reference: royal caribbean test cruise 2021.
